Kids ages 6 to 10 that are funny, outgoing and have lots of great character come together to create their own television show. Kids are usually found in front of the camera and now to flip the script, we are challenging them to learn what goes on behind the camera. The Kids will be separated into three groups of ten and then taught how to write, direct and help produce a 3-5 minute TV show in just 4 to 5 weeks. They will brainstorm on ideas, choose characters, sit in on the audition process, learn to use the camera and other production equipment. While putting together the show, they will display great character, share ideas, learn management skills and team building. There will be professional mentors assigned to each group. The mentors will help with working through tough situations which sometimes occur in life and teach basic production techniques. The teams will gain knowledge from young Actors in the industry as well. During the last episode, there will be a panel consisting of talent agents, managers, casting agents, & other professionals to judge projects & meet with team members. Being that this is a competition show, one team of kids will be chosen as the winners. Advantages- Each child will learn the basics of creating a show, train as a production crew member and see what goes on behind the scenes. Through short workshops, they will have hands on training of how to operate a camera. They will also learn how to work together as a team, working through situations. They will receive advice from young Actors in the industry. During the taping they will be viewed by agents, managers and others in the industry.
